Bluefin tuna fishing is one of my favorites, and with the most productive spots being only 20-50 miles from Cape May, we are usually on the fish very quickly. This is the type of thrilling offshore fishing that time-wise, won't consume your entire vacation.
It is typical to see fish to over 200 pounds at these locations, and fighting one of these fish is an ideal way to stretch your arms a couple of inches. With Yellowfin tuna from 20 to 75+ pounds often mixed in, this is an awesome time and a unique fishery on this coast. We provide all necessary bait and tackle, and only fish the finest gear available.
These trips are normally 9 to 12 hours long and fishing is done with chunks, live bait or on the troll. With chunks or lie bait, we will either anchor or drift, depending on the conditions. Earlier in the season, we will often troll for Bluefin tuna.
We feature Shimano reels and G. Loomis rods, which are the finest in the fleet. More importantly, our equipment is always maintained to top condition, with new line and properly maintained and adjusted drags as a given.
These tuna trips are increasing in popularity every year and must be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment.
